    Hello again,

                    I see what you're saying. Yes style is just a distinctive way of singing. Some teachers say that 'style is when technique is thrown completely out the window' for example  some r n'b singers flip into falsetto for stylistic purposes.

    In other styles such as gospel we hear a very high whinny mix if you've ever heard Aretha Franklin or Patti Labelle sing. As opposed to a more rounded sound in opera.

I helped me confirm some things I thought.Could you add some information about styles , please?I met a sls teacher once who  told me that all styles must be sung at speech level but that  there is a difference of "connection" of the vocal folds when you sing opera or gospel .
